Fantastic - Well organised, brilliantly marshalled - the best race I've done in years

Well done to the organisers and the marshalling team. Everything about this event was spot on. It was a little windy but to be expected on a coastal route. The atmosphere was great and it is pitched perfectly on the training calendar for the London Marathon.

They have a great venue in Llanelli with the miles of traffic free cycle track and the scenery is stunning.

Nice to have a meal provided at the end of the race I needed it; and the free massage certainly helped me recover. The free massage, the t-shirt and all that the event offered provided good value for money and being a race organiser myself I could see that there was excellent attention to detail. Even having toilets on-route was a sign of the high standards set – (many of the bigger city events do not cater to this level).

The support given by the marshals the teams of St John Ambulance volunteers dotted around the course made it a very safe occasion – thank you.

I will certainly be recommending the Llanelli Half Marathon to all my running colleagues and I look forward to returning next year.
